How we plan
Tooth-coloured composite sculpted directly on the tooth. Often done in one visit, with little or no drilling.
Thin ceramic facings made by a dental laboratory. They hold their colour and polish for longer.
New shapes are planned on photographs and scans of your own face, so the design suits you.
A temporary mock-up worn in your mouth, so you can see and feel the change before deciding.
Veneers are a good answer for teeth that are chipped, worn, uneven or a colour that whitening cannot shift. They are not always the first thing we suggest. Whitening, a little composite bonding or straightening with Invisalign® treatment will often give a better result with less done to the teeth.
If veneers are the right choice, the work is planned by Dr Adam White or Dr Amit Patel. You will see the proposed design first and can ask for changes.
Afterwards, veneers are looked after like natural teeth: careful cleaning, regular hygiene visits, and a night guard if you clench or grind.

These are guide fees per tooth. You will have exact costs in writing before any treatment begins.
Bellevue Dental is a private practice and we welcome patients with private dental insurance. Treatment plans from £1,000 can be spread with finance through our partner Tabeo, subject to status. Check your eligibility with Tabeo. The full list of fees is on our fees page.
Composite bonded veneers are from £495 per tooth and porcelain veneers are from £1,250 per tooth. A smile consultation is free, and you will have exact costs in writing before treatment.
Composite veneers are built directly on the tooth in one visit, usually with little or no drilling, and can be repaired or repolished. Porcelain veneers are made in a laboratory, resist staining better and generally last longer, but usually need some enamel to be reshaped first.
Composite veneers often need no tooth to be removed. Porcelain veneers usually need a thin layer of enamel to be reshaped, which cannot be undone, so we only recommend them when a gentler option would not give the result you want.
Yes. With Digital Smile Design we plan the new shapes on photographs and scans of your own face, and a trial smile lets you try those shapes in your own mouth before any tooth is prepared.
Porcelain generally lasts longer than composite, and both last longest with good cleaning, regular check-ups and a night guard if you grind your teeth. Composite can be refreshed or repaired when it starts to show wear.
