Working with other dentists

Several of the team teach. Adam tutors on the Master’s programme in prosthodontics at King’s College London, Damien has taught sedation since 2004, and Amit and Spencer run courses for dentists through Building Better.

We host study evenings at the practice for colleagues from nearby practices, and local dentists refer their patients to us for implants, root canal treatment, orthodontics and sedation.

About the team: your questions

Who are the dentists at Bellevue Dental?+

The dentists at Bellevue Dental are Dr Adam White, our Clinical Director, Dr Leigh Hunt, who founded the practice, Dr Henry Wong, our Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Spencer Richman, who looks after root canal treatment, and Dr Amit Patel. Sarah Waters is our dental hygienist and therapist, and Dr Damien Reilly provides sedation.

Is there a specialist orthodontist at Bellevue Dental?+

Yes. Dr Henry Wong has been on the General Dental Council’s specialist list for orthodontics since 2013. He treats children, teenagers and adults, and provides fixed braces, lingual braces and clear aligners.

Are the clinicians registered with the General Dental Council?+

Yes. Every clinician at Bellevue Dental is registered with the General Dental Council. Their registration numbers are listed beside their names on this page, and you can check any of them on the GDC’s online register.

Will I see the same clinician at each visit?+

We book you with the same clinician wherever we can, because care is better when the person treating you knows your history. If your treatment involves more than one of the team, they plan it together.

Can my own dentist refer me to the team?+

Yes. Dentists across South West London refer patients to Bellevue Dental for implants, root canal treatment, orthodontics and sedation, and we send patients back to their own dentist once treatment is complete.
