Damien makes treatment possible for people who would otherwise stay away from the dentist. He is a Consultant in Special Care Dentistry and is on the General Dental Council’s specialist list in that field. He holds a Diploma in Conscious Sedation for Dentistry, has taught sedation to other clinicians since 2004 and is a faculty member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.

At Bellevue he works alongside your dentist. He speaks to you before the day to go through your medical history and what to expect, gives the intravenous sedation, stays with you and monitors you throughout, and makes sure you have recovered properly before you go home with your escort. He once dreaded his own dental visits, which is a large part of why he chose this work. Damien provides sedation at Bellevue and at our sister practices, Sardinia House in Holborn and Widegate in Spitalfields.
